Facility Waste Type


  1. Select the Waste icon from the Main Menu bar.   Select  Facility Waste Types from the Waste Pickup Requests menu options.



  1. This opens the Facility Waste Type screen.
  2. Highlight a row and click [Edit] to modify a Waste Type.
  3. This opens the Facility Waste Type list screen.
  4. The Waste types used in Waste Pickup Requests are set on this screen.  
  5. Click [Edit] to modify an existing Waste Type.


  1. Edit the Code and the Waste Type Description.  
  2. The Waste Type Description is a required field.
  3. The "Enabled?" check box determines if the waste type is available for use at your facility.  Uncheck if you do not want the waste type to be available for waste requests at your facility.
  4. Check the Default box if this is the default waste type for pickups.



  1. Click [Save] to save entry/edits, or [Cancel] to discard all entries/edits.
